2007 Recording of a fine live performance which took place in
Braunschweig. One half of TROUM and one half of NJD/FEINE TRINKERS
presented their great skills combining electronics and lots of acoustic
sources and devices to their very own sound. Incredible beautiful and
melancholic ambience interrupted by outbursts of repetitve noise loops and
tribal-like rhythms. A must-hear! For lovers of the best RAPOON or
ZOVIET-FRANCE- material.

designed in a beautiful warm grey, black and white tint + well
arranged typography (design: Tilmann Benninghaus). The artwork evokes a
monochrome "industrial" atmosphere, at the same time beautiful
and melancholic, just like the music... On the whole the artwork reminds a
little bit of such legendary projects like CRANIOCLAST. An eyesore...

After
his online debut-album “Vergangenheit und Gegenwart” wich received
very good reviews - released at www.lichttaufe.de
- follows his first official CD release on ART-KONKRET. The Goddess of
hunting and of the winter in the germanic mythology is Skadi. So the CD
starts with cold and mystical soundscapes, followed by rituell percussive
elements. Skadi creates a dark athmosphere with chants, dark dronings,
strings, natural sounds but also with percussions and bells. Because of
this SKADI is an interesting mixture of various dark ambient soundscapes.
The
project is attractive in its diversified parts. Similarities to projects
like Sephiroth respectively Ulf Söderberg, Triarii or Vinterriket can be
noticed, without being another copy of them. Opposingly to many monotonous
dark ambient projects - which only well disposed listener will be able to
differ one track from another, SKADI appears as a catchy project by its
rhythmic and melodical elements with Tune Wedgie character. Eliwagar is
the soundtrack for the forthcoming cold wintertimes.

some of nothing ART KONKRET label presents the third release in the dark
ambient series. The CD comes out with a 17 x 17 cm printed artwork in a
plastic packing and is strictly limited to 300 copies.
Crushing
fluid ambient sounds are descending upon the listener, slowly moving waves
of pulsating machine sounds and cold atmospheric elements mixed together
with urban athomspheres. Hollow vocal samples and echoing percussions in
the behind pull the listener in their ban. The album includes also very
dark tracks with high pitched sound and dark cut up´s but also tracks
with slow
rhythm.
You will discover also ritual incluences but also dark ambient soundwork.
The some of nothing album is all in all very varietal and you will never
get bored.

With “Minus” by THO-SO-AA the ART KONKRET label presents the second release in the dark ambient series. The CD comes out with a 17 x 17 cm printed artwork in a plastic packing and is strictly limited to 500 copies.
On “Minus“ THO-SO-AA finds the way back to his roots. The new material is different to the “Absorb” release. It is very dark, like the early THO-SO-AA material, but with a lot of new influences. You find drones, pushing down bass sounds and ghostly voices. Song titles like "Introduction for a demon", "It's a nightmare", "Below peace & happiness", "A perfect collapse", "Darkness" speak their own language. The dark frequencies corrode slowly deep into the inner life and spread out their blackness.
This release is the soundtrack for an intensive search for a physically noticeable zool sound, the "place where the black stars hang" as Brain Lustmord expressed it. For all who black is not dark enough.

With Nerthus, ART KONKRET start a series of dark ambient releases”called dark ambient series”. Each release comes in a 17 x 17 cm printed artwork in a plastic packing up and is strictly limited to 300 copies.
NERTHUS is well known from his great split LP with Sonne Hagal and a live concert with Vidna Obmana. This project exists since 4 years, but the person behind NERTHUS makes music since 8 years. His influences are the early dark ambient and industrial bands.
The release brings very atmospheric dark ambient creations. Dark dronings are combined with echoing soundwalls. Dreamscapes dissolve into nightmares from which you can't awake, perhaps because you really don't wish to. Exceptionally well conceived sonicscapes culled from the wastelands of the netherworld.
You will discover on the CD also some ritual influences. This is a very good release in the field of ambient music. The aim of the mastermind behind NERTHUS is that his soundcreations always have affects to the limbic system.

After their glorious first CD Infernal Deities Transcending on their own label Live Bait Recording Foundation we can offer the new CD on Art Konkret. The recordings are more powerful than the first CD. This American artists combine different styles of nowadays postindustrial culture. Songs like CONTROL are a uncompromising attack of harsh power electronics with a burning, corrosive intensity. Numbing frequencies, uneasy drones, and low level pulsations with processed vocals. Dark rumbling Death Industrial tracks with droning and atmospheric sound layers mixed with samples andrhythms can also be found on this release. Promising cut-ups, gloomy rumbling droning soundwalls with echoing frequencies, give the songs a special character. The sound material creates an atmosphere between dark, hopeless soundwalls and aggressive noise assaults. From the beginnig to the end the CD never looses its intensity. Drape Excrement is still several years active
in the experimental music scene. The
mastermind behind the project is also kown as a part of Söldnergeist. The sic transit gloria mundi tape, the born dead lp, a split 7inch with Söldnergeist, a split cd with catharsis and several tracks for compilations are thehistory of drape excrement. Now the new full time CD is finished. The recording includes nearly only brand new material, which sounds more like ambient death-industrial. Dark soundwalls are combinded with deep crunchy sounds. Urban voices create a menacing athmosphere. Dark bass-droning
and atmospheric, rattling and crackling sounds rise and vanish. Slow rhythmics filled with black walls of corroded atmospheres and ghostly wails and moans. After several releases like a CD-R on VEB and a 7inch in the USA the first CD release of NARBENERDE on art konkret is ready for the interested audience. The three tracks are a great mixture of all kinds of post-industrial music, with lot of different sides. It starts with bit´s of power electronices and changes to ambient sounds mixed with very good cut-ups. Mysterious cold sounds representing a kind of Death Industrial together with distorted vocals and echoing noises. The work is an excellent soundexploration produced on a high soundstandard. The maybe a little bit more death industrial materiell pull the listener in it´s ban.
It´s difficult to put this surprising structured recording in any drawer of the wide industrial culture genre. This conceptual album has a total runnung time of 61 min.

After the great LP on a german label Art Konkret can present another production of the french project PPF. The tracks range form distorted rythms to crunchy sounds mixed with intensive cut ups. Low frequencies and noise effects, combined with distorted french vocals put the listener in a jouney back to the roots of industrial music. You can file the sound under power electronics, obviously produced with analogous equipment. But the sounds are not so dirty and in a more rhythmical way. You will find intensive bassy drones and also interesting feedback noises.
French power electronics at it´s best for those who love this kind of muisc in a more rhythmical way.
